This is very exciting. I see the Learning2 program putting a lot of the snippets of information I have into the big picture. The picture of what it all is and how to use it.
Already, the little I knew about blogs to date has given me the impression that they are not something I will ever use. Boy, was I wrong!
Far from being monologs of self indulging individuals, they can actually be really interesting tools. The possibilities are endless, all I have to do is overcome my introverted tendencies.
Here is a way to have the noticeboard that the Branch has always wanted. Containing info about all goings on.
There could be Library blogs on activities, aspects of collections, or even collections themselves. All it needs is Time and effort. Two of the most precious resources

Congratulations on started the program. It is amazing what tools are available for us to use.
You are right about time and effort. Have a look at this post from Seb Chan where he talks about working 20% differently rather than 20% more http://www.powerhousemuseum.com/dmsblog/index.php/2008/03/06/resourcing-for-social-media-social-media-cultural-communication-2008-conference/
